Mark Zust, Speaker, Trainer, Entertainer

Mark has made a career of doing the impossible. Whether it's infusing new life into tired brands, transforming college students into young professionals, or turning skeptical audiences into enthusiastic believers, Mark challenges preconceptions about what is truly possible. Mark is a seasoned writer, graphic designer, former college professor, speaker, trainer, facilitator and professional "perceptionist". As a trainer, facilitator and magical performer, Mark works wonders with the toughest business audiences. In Mark's skillful hands, metal appears to melt, objects move by themselves, thoughts are read and the laws of nature are seemingly defied. Executives and staff witness first hand the amazing power of the human mind. They also learn how to harness their innate power to solve problems, discover new product and sales opportunities, work more effectively in teams and connect powerfully with others.

Accomplishments

As a Speaker/Trainer/ Facilitator

Mark has developed custom programs and led executive retreats in creative problem solving, team building and strategic brand development for a wide range of clients including Cleveland Clinic, Cuyahoga Community College, Clear Channel, Progressive Insurance and Volvo/General Motors, to name just a few. Mark also lends his branding and facilitation expertise to Nead Brand Partners, a strategic branding consultancy in Cleveland.

As a College Professor

Received the 1998 Faculty Excellence Award, College of Arts & Sciences, Bowling Green State University. As the Graphic Design Chair at BGSU, Mark was responsible for teaching, course development and management of a dynamic 250-major undergraduate and graduate degree program, the largest of its type in BGSU's history.

As a Graphic Designer

Founded and managed all aspects of two visual communication firms,
from 1983 to 1998.

Mark created and managed the implementation of a comprehensive identity system for an international Fortune 500 company and developed over 150 corporate identity programs for a dizzying range of industrial, retail and service companies.

Wrote and designed annual reports, advertising campaigns, sales brochures and packaging for Bonne Bell, the Cleveland Orchestra, Smucker’s and Volvo/General Motors. HIs creative work has received more than 50 regional, national and international awards of design excellence.

As a Professional "Perceptionist"

Since 1978, Mark has presented his singular form of magic and "perceptioning" for corporate, retail and service organizations.

Mark has developed dozens of custom performances over the years, including a wild west gambling demonstration for a crowd of 1,500 Japanese industrialists and presented mysteries from India and the Far East for an international group of physicians. He has performed throughout the US as well as in Thailand, Bali, and Florence, Italy.

Mark received Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in graphic design and a B.S. in public relations/journalisim from Kent State University.
