CHRISTINE'S PROGRAMS Power Positioning for Professional Success Communicating With Credibility No-Nonsense Networking Necessities The Great Balancing Act Magical Relationships |
The Great Balancing Act Format: Seminar/Keynote There was a time when the phrase "the Great American Dream" meant owning your own home and having a secure job. Today, that phrase means having it all while striving for a "balanced" life. That’s a pretty tall order. With corporate mergers and downsizing at an all-time high, today’s working professional is asked to put in longer hours, perform more tasks, and make more important decisions than ever before. The average employee is being pulled in too many directions at once, and something is usually sacrificed along the way -- health, job status, a marriage, or leisure time with family and friends. An employee who learns to lead a more balanced life is more relaxed, focused and subsequently, more productive. The Great Balancing Act helps individuals find the time to do what’s important to them. The session will help participants to prioritize important issues and eliminate unnecessary items in order to create a more centered, balanced professional and personal life so they don’t feel overwhelmed when facing multiple assignments and obligations. Learning Objective: To identify areas that threaten a balanced life; to outline a professional and personal plan for success; and to master breathing and visualization techniques to bring calm and clarity. Recommended for: Working professionals who want to create and maintain a harmonious balance between career and home life. |
